WHO WE ARE
Grippl Gloves is the industrial handwear division of Phoenix Overseas Limited, listed on the National Stock Exchange of India. We manufacture and export leather safety gloves from Kolkata, India.
Our range covers 53 styles across five families: welding and heat, Canadian pattern, driver, mitten and heat, and falconry. Every style is made from full cow, buffalo or goat leather and stitched with polyester thread for heat and abrasion resistance.
We work two ways. Buyers order from the Grippl range as published, or we manufacture under their own brand with their labelling, packaging and product codes. Both run on the same floor to the same specification.
WHY CHOOSE US
Specification
Each style is documented by leather type, thickness in millimetres, overall length, thumb pattern, cut, cuff, lining, binding and reinforcement. What is written is what is made.
Capacity
A production capacity of 5 lakh pairs per month, held against a rolling forecast so replenishment does not depend on order-by-order availability.
Consistency
Single-facility production across all five families, so quality does not vary between categories or between orders.
Compliance
Certification, HS classification, sizing, weights, minimum order quantities and carton details are confirmed against the requirements of your destination market at the time of quotation.
Accountability
A listed entity with audited accounts, published results and board oversight.
Partnership
Free samples before commitment, and quotations returned within [ 48 hours ] of receiving your reference list.
How the gloves are made
Leather selection
Full hides in cow, buffalo and goat, grain and split, selected by thickness and finish against the requirement of each style.
Cutting
Panels cut to pattern from full hides, graded so that thickness and stretch fall where the glove needs them.
Stitching
Flatbed and post-bed assembly using polyester thread throughout for heat and abrasion resistance.
Inspection and pairing
[ Replace with what actually happens on your floor. A stated figure such as “every pair inspected, [ X ]% audited against specification” is worth far more than “rigorous quality control”, which a buyer discounts on sight. ]
Packing and dispatch
Packed to your carton specification, with export documentation prepared for the destination market.
Finishing
Binding, cuff assembly and reinforcement patches applied to specification.
